I need a new/2nd hand lcd screen for my 2kxl, I understand I have little/no
chance other than buying another mpc for spares. Any advice?

since i dont have any solder experience is it important to solder the
ground wire? or can the screen still be functional with out any soldering
of the ground wires? will there be any long term effects if not solder?
