I have both and I like Machine Studio better because
1. any pad can be a potentual instrument i don't have to go to the sample
edit screen to set it up a head of time

2. It's ahead of the game as far as features although both have some
features that the other don't have i feel Maschine is ahead

3. Maschine is just more inspiring Like Come On a MPC screen is like
looking at MS-DOS lol

4. Integration with other NI products is flawless

5. Faster workflow being that i can do everything on the home screen except
chop sample make it faster to make a beat MPC has too many screens and
folders and duel purpose buttons

Now Mind You I Started On The MPC4000 which was my baby but Maschine won me
over

I came up on the mpc 2000 so I feel right at home on the renaissance. I got
maschine as well which is good but I'm faster on the mpc. Just the way you
can throw sequences together in song mode, chop, track mute, change tempo
within a song & let's not forget that legendary swing lol
