  5. suchA supercuber Oct, 11 - 2014 +reply

its a midi pad so until you program it in a music type program (fl
studio, cubase, reason etc.) it wont make noise

  6. Edmundo Andrade Oct, 11 - 2014 +reply

besides banks and extra knobs is there another difference between the mpd26
    and 32?

  7. Everythingsleeps Oct, 11 - 2014 +reply

@ScottishBrand1 midi map over ableton, not the controller

  8. mikeskills83 Oct, 11 - 2014 +reply

  18. Edmundo Andrade Oct, 12 - 2014 +reply

the note repeat on the mpc works with just holding down that button right?
here it seems you have to engage and disengage it, that isn’t as smooth i
    believe..

  19. IVBEATZBB4D Oct, 12 - 2014 +reply

i know alot of producers just use the mpd32 alone with their p.c or laptop
But in the diagram on your video, it shows a mpc, is a mpc recommended to
    use with the mpd32 ?

  20. myfairvanity Oct, 12 - 2014 +reply

  30. Dimitrios Kalogiorgis Oct, 12 - 2014 +reply

Guys, I do exactly the same process as shown in the video. However, I
understand that the sample do not follow the tempo but is the same. For
example, My sample is originally in 80, I convert it to PP and set tempo to
    70. When I do that I hear the gap in each slice, like silence. And when I
set tempo to 100 for example I understand that there is not enough time to
hear the whole sample, but the next threshold slice covers the previous.
Any ideas? Is there any step that I forget. Yet, I put the correct number
    of bars.

  31. Michael Joseph Oct, 12 - 2014 +reply

Can you show the patch phase on a one shot .

  36. Louis Warnell Oct, 12 - 2014 +reply

Can someone tell me why when I create a sample using the patch phrase
feature, why the tempo doesn’t match the metronome?

  37. afterhrscafe Oct, 12 - 2014 +reply

When I create the pp and pull it to pad there’s no sound any help?

  38. Q-FX SKLLZ Oct, 12 - 2014 +reply

  41. onefunkysoul Oct, 12 - 2014 +reply

Hi buddy, When I hit PP it creates a new sample when I drag it to pad the
new sample is sliced and not 1 fluid sound any ideas, Thanks man.

  42. ICUR NVS Oct, 12 - 2014 +reply

can someone explain the difference between patch phrase and time stretch to
    me

  43. danoblk Oct, 12 - 2014 +reply

Hey so say you select phrase and you do it but the sample don’t have pp at
the end of it. Does this mean you didn’t count the bars correctly in patch
    phrase?

  44. KWANTIZE BEATS Oct, 12 - 2014 +reply

    thx for da video

  45. Issac Brown Oct, 12 - 2014 +reply

What’s the best way to find out the tempo of the sample if you don’t know
it. I wish the ren told you the sample.

  46. KWANTIZE BEATS Oct, 12 - 2014 +reply

    cosign

  47. McRoepster Oct, 12 - 2014 +reply

    Good tip.! peace

  48. Up In Da Attic Oct, 12 - 2014 +reply

@ICUR…. the diff is subtle but easy to understand. the vid shows patch
phrase, which as he shows changes the tempo w/o changing the pitch. he
already has the bars set. with time stretch you have say a 1 bar loop you
want to make 2 bars. doin that changes the tempo AND pitch, since for it to
play 2 bars it’s @ a slower tempo. understand this, MATH IS MUSIC, and
MUSIC IS MATH! so get some books from Amazon and do you homework, once you
see the correlation, it gets easier trust me lol
