You have to sample them in from either a Compact Flash Card or Floppy disk,
depending on which one you get. You can also record them in from a turn
table, iPod, CD player, or whatever your desire might be.
That 4000 is HUGE!
does the mpc have sounds built in or do your have to sample them all in?
@mick4himself The MPC 4000 is a self contained full featured MPC. Does not
need a computer. You would only use a computer with this thing if you only
wanted to use it as a instrument. It is a full featured workstation for the
most part.
Woop there it is!
Yes, as long as you have USB connect to your computer.
Hi All: I need some help with the 4000. I have the adat card in my 4000,
and when I open my DAW it does see the adat inputs 1-8. Now when I assign
the kick to track 1 and snare to track 2 in the 4000, what I am trying to
do is assign those same tracks to the DAW using the adat inputs. for
example I want the kick on track 1 and snare on track 2 using the adat
inputs in the DAW. But everything seems to be going to track 1 in the DAW.
I want to be able to record the drums on seperate tracks.
woop, there it is.
@DJillogick LOL
@cjgasaway just wanted to know how i would use it with my computer, like if
i want to use it as an instrument, my mac doesn’t seem to recognise it. do
i need to download anything specific?
“if you have a woop on…which bars you’re wooping…where you decide to
woop it.”
