Quick funk inspired session… unfinished but fun to make. It just needs to be sequenced. I think it’ll be cool to solo or scratch over.

    Dan works hard.

Great share +soundsforsamplers I do wish they would presented the full
thing, but it’s good to see they’re not jumping ship on Ren. What do you
think about the studio version of the #Mpc? I’ve heard some good things
about it, but never touched it.

    Here is my comparison
    http://diymusicbiz.com/maschine-studio-2-0-vs-the-akai-mpc-renaissance/

    ridiculous.

  8. Craig booker Aug, 1 - 2014 +reply

  9. Artyone Turner Aug, 1 - 2014 +reply

This is the update we have all been waiting for. Very nice additional
features. I can’t wait for the fx insert automation. I’ve been bugging them
about that for a while now. And the mixer option tho. That’s clutch. This
is very exciting. I’m canceling all my plans when it comes out. Thank you
    for posting this.

By the way Dan u look kinda tired, I have the feeling your one of those
actually working their ass off but being dominated by the
commercial/marketing department…i help you : better midi for external
hardware, audio tracks, multicore, use as well 32/64 plugins, add
hf,lf,etc. To your mixer, more stability (but 2 b fair 1.6 is fairly stable,
as long u don’t use to many external synths, or vst’s) cuz the controller
the workflow and basic use is topnotch, but when u want to dive in
deeper, there isn’t much to swim in…love working with my ren, hate the
restrictions its also brings to the table

    P’z

love akai, not so much for Inmusic strategy, m-audio,Alexis,akai
    keyboards,same stuff different nametag…:-(

  11. Geo Stormlife Aug, 1 - 2014 +reply

Add a damn audio track!!!! It would separate this from anything else out
    there!!!! Please

  12. Matthew Anderson Aug, 2 - 2014 +reply

    Awesome-fx automation will be great

  13. DaizM Aug, 2 - 2014 +reply

Nice scoop sfs…had been looking at namm vids all last week and nobody
showed any footage of the ren. Was thinking it wasn’t even there. Thanks
    for pitting this out

  14. elohimfetus Aug, 2 - 2014 +reply

Unified Mixer!! Effects Automation!! I can wait…both of those are needed.
This is thing just keeps getting better and better. I almost don’t want
to do anything else until 1.7 comes out…I hate keeping my sequence mix
    elements in sync.

  15. Zblade1000 Aug, 2 - 2014 +reply

Direct sampling form youtube. New vintage mode like s950 or ASR10. Auto
stay on all the time. Fix the auto loads so more thin just five can load.

  16. Triple X Aug, 2 - 2014 +reply

Man… Multi Processor support and the unified mixer are definitely two
huge steps in the right direction!! Glad to see this.

  17. Tramp Baby Aug, 2 - 2014 +reply

would be nice to have the Auto BPM feature to detect the tempo of samples
like in Kontact or Machine…or the warping feature like abelton live…

  23. Webzterr Aug, 2 - 2014 +reply
