Anyone have a 5000 for sell??? or, where can i get a gud one under $1000
I don’t get why people don’t just do this on computers/maschine now that
they’re super available. Why MPC today?
i swear guys my clients still ask me about my beats when i was use the mpc
2000 , now moved to the machine with a lot of bugs and update shit …
the companies stole our art of sampling … fuck them all !!
do you know were I’d find thia ?
Can you pitch shift on 2500 too?
We need To Bring the art of sampling back .
hey bro what man? I was hopping you can answer a question for me about the
5000?
I gotta 5000 and a 2000 XL and I noticed on the 2000xl in trim mode it has
an option of play samples before to start or after to end the feature is
essential for sampling.
Do you know were I would find the feature in the 5000, and do know what
I’m talking about.
I’ve been calling akai and some of those dudes never even seen a 2000xl so
that’s why im hitting you up
I always used to just adjust my sample in program screen. This method gives
me total control. Not to mention saves me time. Every MPC5000 user should
watch this video.
@mgdadon124 sample snitches get stiches!
good
man you are so funny hahahahah i got yo
i personally use trial n error. you dont really need it cus u can change
the bpm of the beat to match it rather than the sample. just keep changing
it to see. but u can download free bpm counters off the net. i use reason 5
and record but am looking to buy an mpc. either 2500 or 5000. maybe
renaissance but found a cheap mv8800. might go with that.
@DJWill139 thanks bro, i will update it, but by doing so, do i loose any
stock sounds or samples or anything..i mean does it format the mpc or is it
just an update?
bro, you dont need anything to tell you the tempo/ bpm of a song. you can
tell by just listening. tap ur foot, clap ur hands, snap ur fingers,
anything to help you feel a song and find the beat, its very easy to
tell…on most songs that is. there are rare occasions where its quite
difficult to find the beat but most songs are easy to tell.
does the mpc 5000 have auto bpm detect?
does anyone know if the mpc 5000 can play/record 24 bit wav and aiff
samples. i read somewhere that it can but people are saying no it impossible
man hands up very good tutorial I have been struggling quite a while with
my mpc 5000 since I am new to the mpc world and this tutorial just made ma
day. big up
@DJWill139 alright bro, thanks anyway, ill update the software.
video really helpful can’ wait to cop my MPC 5000 in the days that
somepeople dont want to share there knowlege
Great job homie I love the mpc I started with the mpc60 and fell in love
with the 2500 I have ableton maschine and all that stuff but by the time I
get the sample make it a wave and importing I’m already started makeing my
track lol…. bit to each his own whatever works
All this could be done in Ableton in half the time.
Great job on this video man, you should do a lot more. There are a lot of
videos on here that just say do this or that and don’t really explain in
detail the way you did. Great job!!!
man i just got an mpc5000 but it seems to have a problem, i cant enter
“program” or nothing on the pads..i mean i press “mode” and when i press
any pad, it doesnt go anywhere man…it just stays in the “window”
view..i’m kind of a new user to mpc’s but do you have any idea if its a
defect from the mpc or is there something wrong im doing?
@xspidermanplayax no, its all about the sound
I got somme stupied questions. I have my beat made up in my mpc 5000 in
song mode. Not that perfect but sounds ok to me right now. First question
how do i make it now wav*file or mp3*file or somthing. Get it on my
computer perfectley sounding burn it or whatever? Does mpc makes it somehow
for me or i need another device like some tascam recording mixing device?
And how to have some real dope effects on the beat. It would be really
helpful if someone will post some video on that.
