Using Ableton 9 to recreate samples then building the beat in the MPC Renaissance

Yes I believe Melodyne dna was the first to bring us Audio to MIDI. But
it’s a greatly simplified process in Adelton9

It is a stock sound on the Motif XF that I tweaked a little. You should
also check my man Jamal Hartwell out. He has a MKS sensation VST that has a
lot of those keyboard synths that you’re looking for.
