  2. Micah Phillips Oct, 28 - 2014 +reply

QUESTION: How do I assign more samples to pad banks B, C, & D? And have
the ability to switch between them & play over the beat as I construct it?

  3. Hutch Oct, 28 - 2014 +reply

How do you save a sample as a REX file in Reason 6 anyone?

After 1 minute went so fast. Way over my head. I was just wondering about
initializing and asigning different drum sounds to pads. I also find some
rex files, have more than one groove. Are you assigning grooves to pads?
Why not use Dr Oct Rex? What is an MPC? Thanks

  15. Kevy D Oct, 28 - 2014 +reply

rewire is perfect. this video is about how to make not how to sound tho.

  16. arkyve31 Oct, 28 - 2014 +reply

right, I’m pretty sure that knob is what controls the gate sensitivity. Its
been a while since I looked at recycle so i figure its correct name. All my
chopping is done in the mpc honestly.

  18. arkyve31 Oct, 29 - 2014 +reply

    mpc’s

  20. DJDuke679 Oct, 29 - 2014 +reply

    awesome!! helped out a lot

  21. tambulag Oct, 29 - 2014 +reply

There’s no way to chop up samples inside Reason 5. Try using ReCycle, it’s
so simple and easy to use.

  22. daq1170 Oct, 29 - 2014 +reply

Peace @arkyve31 How can I rout my pads on the mpd 26 to the kong and more
importantly how can I provide pad banks as well ?

  23. arkyve31 Oct, 29 - 2014 +reply

its because the gate sensitivity or timing is off when chopping in recycle

  24. Dustin Bender Oct, 29 - 2014 +reply

You gotta get recycle another propellerheads software. Works like a charm.

  25. noriegaent Oct, 29 - 2014 +reply

does the kong have an option for “note on” and “one shot” like the mpc?
