  3. silkenmistgrrl May, 7 - 2014 +reply

What if I wanted like a break down section, or a stop, or a different beat
between the chorus and the verse? Can I save all that and play it all back
    at once?

  4. JIM BOB May, 7 - 2014 +reply

  5. skingsdoc May, 7 - 2014 +reply

@map203 yea, I worked with a lot of groups here in New York City got large
built a dope studio, Sample Kings, worked for Sony, Def Jam, Virgin,
Island, and now I teach and clients how to make music. This video was done
awhile back but all the principles remain the same this is not a beat
competition but an instruction. I may be older then you but I can work any
software, any keyboard, Motif, Triton, Fantom, any thing out there I have
major skills I even know how sign deals with labels.

  10. godfere ali-el May, 7 - 2014 +reply

@jerm2120 damn dude! Doc is just crazy in these videos, but he knows every
MPC in and out and able to go to the Akai company while you tour your local
Guitar Center and Sam Ash, he’s just teaching the basics and giving tips on
the part of a machine giving you difficulty, and if you think he’s wack,
what you should do is open up a business that put out PRODUCTION INST DVDs,
thats better then his HMMMMM??!. SAMPLE-KINGSSSSS!!!!

  11. RizzoAstronama May, 7 - 2014 +reply

@diodoro73 don’t use an mpc as a midi device. it defeats the purpose

  12. henare101 May, 7 - 2014 +reply

    @jerm2120 go die

  13. skingsdoc May, 7 - 2014 +reply

  16. Ride Hip Hop / Nets Videos May, 7 - 2014 +reply

Fantastic tutorial! I love the attention you spent to explaining the basic
steps from a theoretical point of view, and the fun-natured approach you
    took to it.

  17. J Gid May, 7 - 2014 +reply

  20. skingsdoc May, 7 - 2014 +reply

@GCash76 thats in our instructional video

  21. skingsdoc May, 7 - 2014 +reply

@Relentt2008 this is just an instructional video not a contest we make our
demo beats to be just average so the student can feel like he can do better
and realize that it’s not that hard. We did the beat awhile ago the
finished product was used in 4 commercials for radio and we made over
$5,000 from ad agencies here in New York. The Music Business is about
Business here in New York make it sell it period.

  22. icecoldcity May, 7 - 2014 +reply

@map203 Who R U 2 Talk. What can U produce? Probably not shit. Even if U
can he’s probably better than you. You ain’t got no right to tell a person
he’s too old. If that’s his passion mind ya own business.

my 4k has 2 pads that dont work, the qlinks have a mind of thier own
(faders,n links r super sensetive as soon as u touch one it just strts
gliding up or dwn unpredictable) THE HD KEEPS GOING MISSING (hav nw
resulted in banging the machine a few times n it seems 2 come bk, so thats
definately not good) & my screen has black lines running sideways all dwn
the screen, so its very hard 2 read anything, also the dvd drive only picks
up one channel when playing a CD ,hav u heard of this problem b4??
