seem to get my mpc4k hooked to protools 9…. i have done everything u said
to do and the mpc just says waiting for midi play but it wont play in
protools… is it something im doin wrong or is it a trick to it… is it
better to plug it in thru the uno… i am hooking it up thru the mbox…

how come pro tools recorded what’s been on the keyboard and mpc in seperate
tracks automaticaly? Did you set it up in advance or its doing it auto?

I need to know how to run my beat through protools with separate tracks for
mastering without playing each instrument on mute. last time i went to the
studio i had a beat that had abotu 7 different tracks recorded. we played
each instrument back untill he had the whole beat in protools then he
mastered it. how can i make this process easier?

Yo!…I got a Korg Triton with Pro Tools 8, and when track every thing in
pro tools, loop the song, and press play, the song is like a half second
off (late) at the start of the next loop. do you know what i need to do to
get the time on point in pro tools?

warup bro, i actually ended up selling the 4000, as i realised the value of
it was going down fast since the Maschine came out, and i bought a Maschine
with the money….a lot more easier for me to use, and since im not a pro,
and its just fun, its been good for me.

how the fuk to hook it up to my pc. like im using fruity loops 8 xl, but i
stuck the usb in and it doesnt do anything on fruity loops, do need to do
anything specific

You need screencasting software.. For windows take a look at Camstudio..
Also if you lack video editing software, check out blender 3D. It has a
video sequence editor that can be used to compose and render videos. That’s
what I use when I have to edit videos. Blender 2.48a is the good one for
video editing. 2.49b is flawed. What I use for most of my screencasting is
not a windows program, I wish there was a windows equivalent but it’s
called gtk-recordmydesktop, it’s for (Ubuntu) linux.
